YFC accomplishes it's mission with these initiatives:

  • Campus Life combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.

  • City Life is a relational community based ministry that desires to see deep change in an inner-city neighborhood through the raising of local leaders from the young people in that community. City Life is an effective ministry model to transform the lives of inner-city youth, their families and the communities that they live in.

  • Juvenile Justice Ministry seeks to engage young people as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters).  These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they reenter their communities.

  • Parent Life reaches expectant and parenting teens and their children through intentional relationships with trained adults and community partnerships, empowering the teens to make good choices and encouraging them to further their education and move toward independent living and become life-long followers of Jesus Christ.

  • Point Break Workshop improves behaviors, values and attitudes of middle and high school students on their campuses and in their communities, intervening before acts of hatred or violence occur. As a result, better learning environments are created, relationships are forged and reconciliation begins.

  • Real Life “Built for a Purpose,” is the next step into adulthood by connecting young people to permanent successful employment through apprenticeships and ongoing mentoring that provides positive support throughout the critical transition into “real” life.

  • At YFC Camp, it is our desire to create an environment that invites God to transform the lives of young people through shared experiences, outdoor challenges, and times of solitude that draw students to the heart of God within the context of authentic relationships and memorable learning experiences.

  • YFC Mentors is a one-to-one mentoring program designed to serve teens that are deemed to be at-risk. Young people are referred to the program primarily by school counselors. Due to difficult situations that are usually beyond the student's control, these kids are struggling.
