Finding Hope & Stability

Posted on by Martin Corder

Last Spring, Angie walked in to the Gold Hill Youth Center for the very first time. She's bright and beautiful with a contagious smile.

Within a few short weeks I got to hear a small part of her story. Angie and her sister were in their fourth foster home at the time. We didn’t know it then, but she was on her way to her fifth and that’s when we lost touch with her over the summer. Surprise… just a few days ago, I saw Angie at our City Life Community Center! We hugged and she shared that after camp things had fallen apart at her last foster home. She told me while she was living in Eagle Point she attended the Campus Life Youth Center out there. Now she is going to North Medford High School and is hoping to go to the Campus Life Youth Center there. I told her, “The new North Medford Director is right here. Let me introduce you to Ray.” She smiled and reassured me “Nothing would compare to the Gold Hill Youth Center, where she fell in love with Jesus.”

Thank you for your support of the five YFC Youth Centers in our area. They are providing hope and stability in these kids’s broken world where ever they may go. If you would like to be more involved, please contact me at 541-951-2572 or on the web at roguevalleyyfc.org. Blessings on you!
